Orphan’s Hope is 100% dedicated to the compelling needs of Orphans in poverty and transforming their lives.
Orphan’s Hope is inspired to see the power of God’s love meet orphans’ most vital needs, when there was no one else to care for them.
Orphan’s Hope is providing love that heals hearts, food relief where orphans are hungry or malnourished, critical improvements to their living conditions, new housing, the ability to attend school, medical care, transition solutions, mentoring/discipleship, great summer camps, volunteer teams, and more. Most of all we see them growing up, experiencing their most important needs met, in relationship with their Heavenly Father through Jesus His Son. It is a beautiful thing to see, that forever changes the course of their lives.
We are committed to seeing orphans living in families whenever possible but for so many orphans there is no such opportunity. For these we meet them where they are, being a shining light through the Holy Spirit reflecting the Father’s great love through our words and actions. For some of these it may be in orphanages, prison, abandonment, and other very difficult situations. We see the Father working in and through us with great compassion for orphans. For some we are able to bring them to a special place like our Garden Home where we have over 70 children who lost both their mother and father and had place to go. We work to make it a family environment with smaller more family style homes for children and their house parents (or widows).
27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress
and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
Jesus talked about the very things that Orphan’s Hope and our supporters are doing. He said…
Matthew 25:31-36 and 40
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory.
32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
… 40 “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’
